Anne O’Donnell, a 34-year old newlywed and freelance photographer at the end of her journey with brain cancer, invites her family and closest friends to spend her final New Year’s Eve and birthday with her at the family’s home in Vermont. Taking place on the eve of 2017, each of them finds that they must grapple with Anne’s right to die with dignity and grace, the determination to stay in the moment even if it’s ripping your heart out - and the art of letting go.
